GRAVITY reinterprets the addictive darkness of forces beyond our control.

GRAVITY becomes both internal and external, an emotional pull and a physical gesture that cannot be helped. The bright neon on the mostly black and gray palette acts as the pull, while the downward slope of the midcentury modern form is the force of the gravity simplified.

The new, original prints reflect the same motif: slices of neon cut across black and white collages of old Manila and Berlin, becoming a whimsical deconstruction of the gravity of memory and desire.
